FAQ

As the first paint and sip business in Southern New Hampshire, The Canvas Roadshow has been entertaining painters since October of 2012. We are a locally, female, owned and operated business, so you can feel good about keeping your entertainment dollars in our community and state.   We offer you a fun oasis to take a break from life, share a good time with friends and family and try something new.  You may love it so much you become addicted.  Not to worry, you will be in good company!

What to expect during a class at The Canvas Roadshow:

You arrive at our studio at the designated time. You pick a seat, get an apron and your paint needed for the painting (we guide you through this process). You will have time to buy wine, beer or snacks to enjoy during your class.  When everyone is ready, the class will begin. It’s okay to be a few minutes late; any more than fifteen minutes, please be sure to call us to let us know. The events last roughly two hours. This varies depending upon the students in the class and the painting; plan on two and a half hours to be sure. We look forward to having you come paint, sip, and relax with us soon!

I can’t draw a stick figure, aka I don’t have an artistic bone in my body, can I do this?

Absolutely!  This is exactly who our events are designed for! Our artists have broken down each painting into simple and achievable steps for the most timid of painters.  You never know who has an inner Monet itching to get out! Our classes are geared toward beginners, but all levels are welcome to join us---each painter can work at his or her own pace.  There is no pressure or rush at The Canvas Roadshow.

Are the classes on your calendar public events?  Unless marked Private, they are open for you to join.  Come with your friends, your significant other, a family member, or by yourself. Our events are social and fun---you might even make new friends. The Canvas Roadshow is the perfect mini escape from the demands of your life, your kids, or your job, and for less than the price of a pedicure, you leave with a lasting work of art to proudly display!

Can we hold a private event at The Canvas Roadshow? Absolutely! We do birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers (we can paint on onesies!) retirement parties - any reason is a good one! Call us at 603.943.2103 or email info@thecanvasroadshow.com to select a date.  There is a minimum guest requirement based on the day of the week and time of day.  You are welcome to bring your own food and cake. We sell wine, beer, soft drinks and snacks to make your life easier.

Do you do corporate events?  Absolutely, this is one of our specialties!  We do team building events and can get quite creative on how to put this together in our studio or off site.  It’s a great way to get coworkers together, let the guard down and share a fun experience.  It helps them like coming to work more!  We have great references, too, to share.

Do you do Children’s Birthday Parties? Childrens’ birthday parties are a blast at The Canvas Roadshow. Always a private event, we work with our younger painters to choose the painting they’d like each party guest to complete, in a step by step, fun process! Our childrens’ parties are $22 per painter and include all the materials: paint, brushes, an apron, easel, and professional instruction. You may bring in pizza, cake or cupcakes. Please let us know if you need referrals of local vendors who could assist you.

How do Fundraisers work?  We partner with a lot of causes to raise money for our community.  As a locally owned business, this is very important to us.  You book an event with us by calling or emailing, and we enroll people through our website for $45 per painter.  $20 per painter goes to the cause.  We mostly do fundraisers on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays in the evening or Sunday afternoons.
